from memory there is only 4 bolts holding the whole assembly to the body, 2 at the diff in behind the bumper there and 2 big bolts at the front of the assembly, then you just have to unbolt all the brakes/shocks and undo the tailshaft, have the car on stands and leave the wheels on so when you drop it out you can just wheel the whole lot out

Hope you have a big breaker bar for the two forward bolts on the cradle, and the four holding up the diff ^_^ They're usually in tiiiight with about a litre of loctite.

Also make sure you use a liberal amount of Loctite Stud Lock on everything you reassemble

I've found the easiest way to get these diff's out is to cut a hole in the boot floor. Makes undoing the 17mm bolts sooooooooooooooo much easier

Wouldn't it be even easier to just cut out the sections of floor that house the cradle brackets, shock absorbers and wishbone mounts, and just let the whole unit drop onto the driveway? No need to undo any bolts at all!!!
