hey guys i have a 1992 vp wagon v6 auto i was just wondering if any 1 know what size the washer bottle hose is that got to the washer jets and also i started the car the other which hasnt be started for 2 weeks and the engine light came on so i checked the code and it coming up with tps voltage to high and after 20secs or so it stalls dos any 1 no why its doing that thanks
1) Washer bottle hose should be 4mm? I think?
2) Try removing the TPS from the throttle body, and giving it AND the throttle body a good clean with the correct solvent (throttle body and MAF cleaner are available from most auto stores, or ask a staff member for the appropriate solvent)
3) If that doesn't fix it, try exchanging the TPS with one on another car and see if the problem goes away.
The TPS is held onto the throttle body with two phillips head screws, more easily accessible on the V6 models if you just cop it and take the whole throttle body off.
