vn ss engine problem

was fine wen in neutral and revin, but under load she just farted n tried to hold back, plugs n leads were changed not long ago with Bosch gear. its been doing it slightly for a while but today just got past a point where it couldn't b driving. please help

Sounds like either an ignition issue, or a fuel supply issue. Could be related to the Distributor (hall effect sensor damage), or the Ignition Control Module (they just shit themselves for fun, really).

It could also be the death of your external fuel pump, and you're not getting enough fuel pressure through the in-tank pickup pump to supply fuel under anything other than idle conditions.

Tough one to diagnose, this. First you want to get a fuel pressure tester, and hook it up to the inbound fuel line - turn the car on, and see what results you get. Compare those to factory specs in your Gregories manual.

If all is well there, you may want to get a second opinion before spending money on parts

That said, if you know anyone with a car an the same engine, you can do little parts swaps. Ignition Control Module is a reeally easy place to start
