hey guys just been going through ebay to see whats up and came accross this chip Holden Commodore VN/VP V6 sv3800 performance chip | eBay wondering if anyone has bought one of these and if its worth it,or are there better ones, its on ebay so is it trustworthy? any opinions?
not really, its just a stock tune with a little more timing from what i remember, you would also had to solder that into your memcal

what about this one? Holden Commodore VN-VP V6 MEMCAL ECU Chip- BURNOUT Tune | eBay i can solder thats not an issue, just wondering if its worth getting and is it difficult to reach the memcal unit coz i have no idea where that is lol
also just found a calais supercharger for $50,its been sitting around for like 10 years though and has a 5cm hole in the top that could be welded, worth getting? and if it is,what would i have to do to fit this to a standard 3.8 executive engine 91?
I can tell you the gains on either will be negligible on the standard v6, not sure with something that's been altered too much is the best thing to do. without looking at the spark advance and fuel maps I wouldn't be using it. No rev limiter certainly cant be good!

Calais supercharger? link?
Power is measured in DECIBEL
lol i aint getting into a bidding war with u if its worth it,tell me first and then il link you lol
COMMODORE CALAIS V6 VN SUPERCHARGER VQ NOT VP VR VS | eBay looks old, could be seased up,not to mention thats all you get,so you would need to find anything else needed to get it to run elsewhere
no vn-vr supercharged calais.., so my guess its off later vs - vy which wont suit your motor anyhow.
EDIT: yeah definately wont suit your motor, WTF is with that hole, looks suss
Power is measured in DECIBEL
i know ay,11 years of rust will do that i guess
that aint rust

Judging by the way the metal is bent, I would say something has been whacked into the top of the charger.
