hey guys i got a 91 VN executive,im thinking of picking up a cheap VR berlina,no rego, interior is immaculate apart from like 1 tear in passenger seat, was thinking of mixing and matching parts out of the VN and VR to make one car, suggestions? should i take stuff from the VR into the VN? or should i sell the VN and keep a few pieces for the VR? was there anything in the VN better than the VR?
VN/VP dashboards and door trims are 1000% better than the VR/VS stuff. So forget about that. Seats are a straight swap and a good upgrade. Seatbelts will swap over too. Maybe the carpet and roof lining are good too?
Full interior swap can sooooo be done in one day![]()

lol wish mine was that neat
You could do the vr/vs front end conversion.
indicator switch / grab handles / door pods / window winders if u have any / parcel shelf will leave a small gap between rear window an back of parcel shelf though not noticeable if u have tinted windows and brake light needs modifying to sit right / roof lining need to cut hole for the vn rear view not hard / and pretty much any thing else that fits an looks better as above vr front end conversion i personaly would keep the vn if its in good condition and keep all the vr parts that are worth keeping an sell what u dont need
you mean the body? that would look silly with my rear, also the cars are different colour lol
What's wrong with the VR? VN/VP interior better than a VR/VS lol sure!!!

Nice to see you picked a VR/VS Acclaim (with fully sick bogan upgrades) to a VN Statesman
Only thing I like out of VN/VP interiors compared to the VR/VS was the seats out my VP Calais. Ahhhh, I miss my VP Calais.
Rap around door trims look nicer in my opinion and the VN/VP Calais dashes always remind me of the XF Fairmont Ghia dashes (with the million buttons).
