clutch problems??? HELP.

hey guys.
im having some problems with the clutch on my vn ss. it has a new clutch and cable and throw out bearing but when fully adjusted it still only has half a pedal. clutch was replaced before i got the car but not put back together so im not sure if there is anything missing or not.

As replied in your other thread, it sounds like your pivot ball is improperly adjusted for the new clutch. You always need to reset it when installing a newie, as all your dimensions are back to factory.

You can find the proper height dimensions in any Gregories workshop manual. Unfortunately the only way to adjust it is with the transmission off.

lol i have the opposite problem on both my t5's full pedal but the clutch only grabs riiiight up the top. Used some washers down by the clutch cable adjuster to tighten it up a bit...helped a little.

I had the same problem when I put my t5 in.. I turned up a sleeve to go where the cable fits into the gearbox, pushing the outer of the cable further away from the gearbox.. gave me more adjustment works fine now..
mite be worth tryin that before pullin the box off lol.
