vp ss few problems

first my gauge for my temp dont read it moves a little the car over heated and it didnt move no where near quater and when i put the brake on the car run rough and strarts to idle low and at night if u put it in park and have the lights on they r dimm but when u rev it they go bright and when ur driving and u put ya foot down it strart to splutter

Alternator? try puttin new brushes in that. might fix the lights dimming and maybe make it run better.. just check fuses/ relays to be sure theres nothin simple too...could be the temp sensor stuffing the gauge up.. as for the brake making it run rough I have no idea..

cool thats what ever one said was the altenator and were about is the temp sensor located

pretty sure it's behind the throttle body on the inlet manifold, can't remember 100 % tho..
also mite pay to do a fault code check first. there is a good thread on how to do it and what all the faults mean on here. I'd start off with that.
