im taking my seats out of the VN,but have no idea where to start, where are the bolts i need to take out coz i cant see them
There in each corner....You gotta slide the seat forward and or back to get to each of the bolts... Not sure about the vn's but my VR has allen key bolts....
those bolts can be a pain in the ass to get out, if you get an allen key and have a small piece of metal piping to get more leverage to crack the bolt.
the back seat just pops out and the back rest of it is held by 2 bolts, nothing to major there.
i was hoping it would be easier than that,i think i saw allen key bolts there, its gona take me a while![]()
get a set of the allen sockets at bunnings. ive got a kincrome set for $30. your run of the mill allen wrenches will just bend and twist up because those bolts have thread locker on them... trust me ive been there and done it... plus you dont wanna sit there unscrewing them by hand like a muppet... i break them loose by hand then zip em out with an air ratchet...
something similar to this...

umm dude the amount of room you have for a hand aint much under there, not to mention those bolts are tight as hell,i know its only 4 bolts but you cant do them with regular allen keys
Slide a piece of metal pipe or similar over one end of the allen key. I did mine this way, much easier.

the bolts would have loctite or similiar so your gonna need extra leveridge <---spelling
