vp ss help pulling my hair out with it
well the other day was driving the ss my speedo kept going up and down and then it and then the car just died and wouldnt strart back up seem like there was no spark half hour later she started back up didnt run good though then she just kept having trouble starting got it home did an error check got code 12 and went to start it back up it started at a real low idle and gradely got higher turn it off and havent been able to get it going since so thought it was ignition module replaced that and still nothing any ideas i checked the coil aswell theres spark there

My Vp did the same thing a couple of months ago and in regards to your speedo, mine was doing the same and no codes came up on mine until a week later and it was the Speed Sensor had shit itself, maybe check yours out.

just a random idea, but has it got a factory alarm installed? if so check the override switch as they have the tendency to fail and lock the immobliser on also check your CAS, "crank angle sensor"

Only other bit to go bung is the dizzy hall effect gizmo. The speed sensor may well be dead also - but should not stop the car from running.Originally Posted by nathan01

it has a factory immobliser i dont have the remote but have the key for the side of the door turn it and said press remote which i dont have how can i override or turn it off permantly it cranking over goes to strart but doesnt
some ######## over filled my oil so was clogging the spark plugs thanks for everyones help
