VG project
Hey guys i bough a VG ute a few months back and i have finally started working on it when i got it it had been sitting for 2 years the handbreak was stuck on it had flat tyres a broken 1/4 window the dash was pulled apart n shit everywere and the bumper was in the back and it also had 2 seats and needed new front struts.
when i got it i cleaned it up removed the broken window tryed to put the dash back together broken peace's everywere lol fixed the handbreak lol
so far i have
.bought new front strut rubbers
.new a/c commpressor
.bench seat (was a mission to find)
.new dash pieaces was hard to find to lol
.bough a new radiator
.new light switch
.bumper clips still need one lol
.new tail gate
my plan is to get it back to scratch stock basicly n mod the motor
wide throttle body
cold air
thats about all i can think of right now lol havent looked into that side much

you don't see many vg utes around these days, good project car, should drop a 5ltr into it, keep us updated
yeah ive been hearing that not bad ay i picked it up for $450 to bargan lol i have thought about that ive look at a few 5ltrs its very much on my mind once im off my p's to lol
super 6 ftw haha so much more fun! just did it to mine!
looks good cut and polish paint will look great check out my build thread i have v6 twin throtts faceing up.

450 is a bargain, the super 6 is pretty good but you can't beat the low end toque and the grumble of the 304
the super6 will beat itbut im with ya on the rumble nothing beats 5L

on the dash there im missing the pieace that clips in on the front next to the lighter dont know what it is or were to get it

hey guys just an update on whats been going on with the vg been fsairly busy havent done to much but heres whats new
Strut rubbers
new tie rod ends
the bench seat
new 1/4 window
new wipers
ac compressor
bumper clips
new dash
fuel pump
water pump
new heater control unit
new tail gate
and now 1 new front calliper went to take out the bleed nipple and it snapped off half way in daym thing its at a point were u carnt get it out eather
will have some pics up soon as i get a chance to take some
hey guys here are some recent pics u should notice some differences with the ute the bonnet is only sitting on not sure what to do with it yet ill b re-spraying it next weekend

Looks great man.. When you paint it are you going to take off the black side stripes?
yeah i will be im undecided weather or not to fill it or just to spray as is
