    Default Throttle bodies question

Hi just wondering if the manual and auto throttle bodies idle speed remain the same? Asking this question for the other half.

you mean if your idle speed is different between manual and auto? its usually pretty standard throughout all vehicles to have the idle at 700-800 RPM in autos and 1100-1200 RPM on manuals, mines an auto and usually sits around 750 but some peolpe change idle speed for performance applications so it all depends on what has been done to the car

It is a V6 manual and it does have a chip in it as well. It did have a taco in it but we took it out as the other half thought it was causing problems with it stalling.

If it's stalling check your IAC is clean
He cleaned the IAC and the improvement is amazing. He said he is guilty of car neglect as well, but he is going to make up for it lol.

The Taco was an after market one and he is thinking of putting in back in.
