Accelerator Help

The lock nut on the accelerator cable had come undone the other day and the throttle was pulling on slightly will this upset the throttle positioning sensor and the iac control. could this cause the car to have a hiccup every now and again?

I wouldn't think so. Reset the ECU to be sure though if you're worried.
