    Default Vn 304 problem

    Hey guys
I got a problem with my vn 304, its starts up fine when it’s cold, but once the car gets pretty warm, the car just cuts off randomly and when you try to start it back up, the revs just go crazy and it cranks and cranks and she wants to fire up but doesn’t. Sometimes it back fires. Any ideas what this can be? I do have one injector leak which I haven’t not changed yet also I have changed the internal fuel pump with a 400hp one which by-passes the external pump (has been disconnected). Once the motor has cooled down it starts up fine. Help would be much appreciated

Had a similar problem with a VP GTS years ago. Turned out to be a ECU fault. They are about $30 from a wrecker - Vn/VP V6/V8 are all the same. Just pop out the blue memcal and plug your one into it.

i've been researching a suspected electrical problem in my vs 5L. and i've come across a few threads where people have had the same symptoms u got and its turned out to be a faulty hall effect sensor in the dizzy. mates vs 5L did the same a while ago too
