$20 fuel, rags, and a lighter.
$780 in savings to put back in your bank for a real car.

If I had a VN and 800 bucks I think I would take it to a dyno tuner and get them to make it run as well as it can now. A full and thorough service, replace plugs, leads, coilpak, filters, fluids etc, whether they need it or not, and service the fuel system. Then a good dyno tune.

It may sound like not much, but get it done properly and you wont get much change from 800 bucks. People dont realise how much all the bits deteriorate without actually failing, and how much power they lose in the process. A serious service and professional dyno tune will transform your engine.

If you've already done all that, then use the money to get a head job Clean the heads up, it will make a big difference.

Too many people think about adding craploads of performance gear before even making the car run like it's supposed to standard. A car that hasnt had a decent tune in a couple years can lose 20-30% of its power, even more. Restore it to its former glory and you get an instant power gain of 30% ? Not too many other things can get you those kind of results so easily.

-Double row timing chain (remove balance shaft aswell, stops that annoying balance shaft bearing noise)
-Ecotec oil pressure spring (will lower the chance of a rod going through the side because of lack of oil pressure)
-Corvette servo, trans cooler and trans service
-Replace engine oil, oil filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter
    -Change diff oil
    -Greenfoam tune
-100% throttle mode (in how to section), Might aswell clean the throttle body while your there
-Change brake fluid (everyone should do this) and some hpx's off the gslrallysport
-Replace Inlet manifold gasket and rocker cover gaskets
and if you have any money left go to the wreckers and try and get some second hand extractors and a 2.5" exhaust

Its best to get the car somewhat reliable before you mod it....
