    Default Dash conversion from VR/S-VP...

    Hey all

This is something I want to do before Christmas hopefully, I wish to do a VR/S dash & door trims conversion into my VP.. Preferably Statesman/caprice, but if they're too wide, then just VR/S sedan..

Im just wondering what is involved with this..

Preferably id like to do level 3 (probably out of the car the dash came from, while im pulling the dash out) and climate control (might as well while the dash is out).

Also, I was thinking today, what do I do about the indicator/wiper arms, as VR/S have 2, VP have 1..

Just wondering what problems id come into doing this?

    VKC

Would they fit though? Looks pretty close between the trim and dash..

Pick & payless cost the absolute world though..

Does anyone know how I would go about wiring it all up?

Jack out of all people i thought you would of searched first! You can pretty much use your VN loom in the VR/VS dash. Or convert the whole loom over to a VR/VS loom.

One question I got tho did anyone transfer the adj steering across?

I had a quick google but it didnt show up much..

As in the column? I wouldn't mind doing that while its all out so I can have the adjustable column, but it is one of the last of my worries..

Once we put the 383 in Mischa, do you reckon you could give us a hand with the worst of it (since you know how to take out a dash and I dont ), I can handle the trims & console, its just the major bit of the dash, and the wiring that I'll have a bit of trouble on..

Why are you going smaller with a manual rack?
