hey guys i just started my vn this morning for the first time in like 3 days, its just been sitting there coz i havent needed to go anywhere,it started on the first crank which was odd coz it usually takes a few to get started. but then as i took off i noticed a trail very light white smoke coming out of the exhaust, blown head was the first thing to rush to my mind, but then i thought isnt the smoke meant to be alot thicker if thats the case, and would it have started first crank after 3 days of not doing anything? can a blown head gasket still happen under those conditions,or do you think it could have been just getting rid of some gunk?
if it is a v6 i highly doubt it blew a head gasket
1) did the smoke clear up quickly
2) are there signs of water in your oil
it's possibly just an inlet manifold gasket leak which is letting water into your cylinders overnight, and burning off when you start up.

does it being a v6 matter? well when i pulled over and let it idle it was kinda wispy out the back,i went home and turned it off straight off to avoid anything,il go check on the oil, what am i looking for in the oil? i heard if it turns white or frothy or something, also same with coolant?
Look for any swirls in the oil, you will know if something is wrong. Also have a look at your coolant and if see if there is any oily like substance on the top. Another thing to check is the oil cap, take that off and see if there is white stuff around the base and top.
