does anyone know of a vn v6 Buick 3800 motor thats had the 4 back cylinders cut off and used the front 2 to make a working V-twin engine ...i know it sounds like a waste of time but i want to know if anyone thinks its possible..the idea is to use the motor in a Rat bike ..i'd love to hear constructive advice
Would be cheaper to get a v twin motor or even a 2-stroke..
sounds kinda cool, ive seen it done once with a clevo. there would be a fair bit of engineering involved, if youve got the skills give it a go not like V6s are hard to find for cheap.

if you were going to all the trouble of cutting up a v6 you would be better off putting an 8 in it.
I've seen it done in SC magazine one time, Its a hell of a lot of ####ing around and custom machining..
looks like i'm going to quit before i start..V8 bike would be way to heavy for me..i guess its not a simple mod after all....might have to save up for an old indian chief..that will take 10 years ,at least
just put a hayabusa engine in it like everyone else... /thread

Street Commodores, but it was actually Street Machine that run the article. A guy cut down a Ford V8 - Windsor or Cleveland, I'm not sure, into a V-twin. A lot of screwing around on a carb fed motor, let alone a fuel injected number with ECU controlled spark. Sure, it's possible, but why bother? Better off starting with a 253 or something.
