S1 V6 thrust washers????Please help

Hi all.Iv got a VN Calais V6 Auto.It seems to have done the thrust washers in(you can grab the crank pulley and pull it forward and back(and yes it is the whole crank moving)).I was wondering if they were part of the mains or separate thrust washers as i have been told conflicting stories.Is this a common problem or just some random occurance?Cheers for any help

Crankshaft end float is regulated by the number 2 main bearing thrust faces.
