im looking to buy an exhaust for my vp
what's a good brand that gives the car i nice deep note?
im not much of a mechanic but how to i know if i have a solid diff or irs?
Is it an 8 or 6?
Don't hold me to this but I'm pretty sure the vp's all had solid diffs.
its a 6 mate
I had a 2.5" lukey sports system on my vn. Cost me $250 and took under an hour to put it on myself. Bolts staight on flange after cat so it's pretty easy. Was quoted $400 to have it fitted
Lukey 2.5inch would be the best and pretty cheap 2. Do you know what a diff looks like then look under the car theres a lot diffrnt between irs and solid .It should say irs under ur stereo if it is irs.
VN White Berlina Sedan V6 (S1) Full Lukey Exhaust Lovells Springs 15x7 Interceptors v8 Throttle Body Custom Tune Calais Grill Mulberry Calais Seats 2 12Inch Alpine S-Type Subs Level 3 Cluster.
The VP was the first to have IRS as an option. Look under the rear of the car, if the exhaust runs under a thin axle, it is IRS, if it goes over the diff, then it is live axle. Chances are it's live axle.
I do a 2 1/2" cat back Manta system with a front muffler and rear tail pipe for $230 shipped to your door. Mandrel bent and picks up on all the original hangers, includes the clamp and gasket and is very easy to fit.
