vk parcel shelf dimensions

i have a vk, and i ripped my parcel shelf out and started to make a thicker one out of MDF so my 6x9's made some sound...
i need the dimensions to make my new one...
can anyone help me out?

Trace your old one either on to tracing paper, straight onto MDF.
From memory I used 8mm (maybe 12mm) MDF, traced my old one, then just cut it down to fit. It wont quite fit the original size because its not flexible and a bit thicker.

I done all my on tracing paper, marked out how to get 6X9's to fit and kept the baby seat bolt thingo's, then just traced it onto MDF and cut away.

yeah just trace around your old parcel shelf straight on to your mdf also of your using 6x9s its a good idea to make 19mm mdf raised plates at each end contoured to match your parcel shelf so you wont need to cut the metal below to fit 6x9s ,when you make these raiser plates the magnet of a 6x9 will fit in the factory holes, if you cut the metal they can canary your car.
