vp 5 speed wont start

hi everyone my vp comodore wont start via the ignition barrel. i did a manual and engine conversion 6 months ago but it worked till now. the only way i can start the car is by turning the key to accessories then either roll starting or arcing out the starter motor by tapping the positive wire to the signal wire. this starts the car and it keeps running. i changed the starter motor and the same problem is happening. if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appriciated. cheers guys n gals.

Just check ALL the earths and the signal wire from the starter. I had his problem but it was at the battery side of things.

Check to see if the neutral safety has unjoined

there is no neutral safety... i day the proper manual loom

nope all the relays are fine
