    Default VN DVD Bracket problem

Hi guys I have a 1988 VN Commodore. After bit of a tussle I finally got my radio casette out. The hidden lock screw was about 1/2" long.
I have got a fairly new Response QM 3788 In-Dash Multimedia Player with USB and Bluetooth
It is the same width but is about 3/4" longer.
My problem is how do I get a bracket that will fit the new dvd so I can fit it into the dash.
Where do I get a bracket or how do I make one
    Thanks Mick

If your handy modify the factory brackets from the factory radio to suit the new dvd player.

With the factory bracket attached to the factory radio sit one on top of the other then see if the holes in the side of the new radio will line up with the holes in the factory bracket (you may have to redrill the factory bracket to suit.

Just keep in mind as your new unit is longer than the factory make sure it doesnt put too much pressure on the plastic box (this is your Hot and Cold door flap) in behind the radio.. (If you do when you put it all back together you might find the temperature control may get stuck.

You may need to have the new radio sitting out slightly more than the factory radio.

Oh and dont worry about putting that 1/2" screw back in, no need.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers

    Simon
