Default can some one tell me where the clutch damper/spacer goes on a manual vn ???

    hey guys and girls,
can some one tell me where the clutch damper/spacer goes on a manual vn i have put mine on the snout of the pedal cluster it seems right(its a vn v8 and t5 manual into a vl)
though it's still not giving enough clutch pedal i just want to confirm where the sucker goes?? cheers
this is a picture of how i have mine(don't mind the bolts i just tried spacing her out more lol can some one tell me where the clutch damper/spacer goes on a manual vn ???-001.jpg

i may have some welding to do we cut out some of my fire wall to fit the vk cluster, though they have the long snout and vn are flat faced at the rear(maybe i should of cut the snout off and just used the grommet?)
any one with an idea feel free to help lol

Why did you have to cut the panel? Im pretty sure mine already had a hole for the cable to go thru (was v8 auto before) I think I threaded mine thru a 14 or 16mm flat washer and stuck the adjuster at the firewall end

hey mate its actually been put into a vl(still is the same though i would say the pedal cluster is different that's why i'm having problems).
so did you have a separate hole for the cable? not ran through the cluster snout?
