Just wondering. My mate claims his VP with 18's can be cruising at 20k.. dropping it into 1st (auto) and giving it a gutful will leave 2 black marks till he lets off..
Also claims it does 0-100 in 4 seconds.. He laughed at me when I said my VR does 0-100 in about 10 seconds

Now, Ive had stockies on and I've had troubles taking off even squiking my tyres.. I can do it on the more smoother roads but that's it...
Ive also driven his car and almost seemed like driving my own car.. even asked him show me.. and says he doesn't want to buy new tyres... :\

I doubt theres any mods accept for a rusted out catback..

So is my mate pulling my leg or what?

what are the specs of your mates car?

If its a 355 V8 with 20psi of boost and a shot of NOS with 4.11 diff gears then sure, it could quite easily do the shit he says...

But if its a stock v6 then no, he is mentally retarded and needs help.

Lets take one step back here.

If he has a stock VP v6 with only a cat back he will not be dropping two black anything... unless we're talking hairy balls into his mouth.

Unless he has a non-stock diff... then at 20 you would expect a 1-2sec of wheel spin, traction and slowly driving away... on bald tyres.

If he's already admitted he's full of shit on the 4 sec it safe to say you should take any claims he makes in regards to his car with a grain of salt.

My manual VZ clubsport that is pushing 471 rwhp will do that with ease, Itl even light the rears up in third at 100 in the dry without touching the clutch

But my stock as shit VP daily running crapy 15's even with a LSD can only do that in the wet, and its a manual = big clutch dump
