vn starting problem
I have a 91 vn exec v6 that I'm having problems with up until Tuesday it was fine then after going for a drive it sat for maybe an hour then when I went to go start it again nothing it just turns over but wouldnt fire but yesterday after I got home from work I tried again and it fired up first go I took it for a drive and all was good then this morning again it wouldn't fire up what could this be?
GRA = REAL HP
fuel pump ? CAS ? can you hear the fuel pump spin ? do you have spark at the plugs and pulse at the injectors ?
The pump in going as normal haven't checked spark yet will do that this afternoon
paper clip, diagnostic mode, count the cel light for codes, look them up, that may show what is causing it
I did a diag check all that came up was o2 sensor just checked coil packs and got no spark swapping them out now hopefully solves the problem if not maybe DFI module?
Changed out the coil packs and she fired straight up hopefully that is the problem and it starts so I can get to work tomorrow
Ok so it ran fine for a few days then today I went for a drive to the beach and as I was slowing down to go over a speed bump it stalled put it in neutral and turned the key after a few cranks it started then after we finished our swim it wouldn't start thinking maybe fuel filter is clogged I was running on almost empty last week and that seems to be when the problem started
the fuel pressure regulator gave me long hard starts till i worked out oneday this was the problem - however it dont sound quiet like your problem good luck with it mate dont it suck when ya cant put ya finger on whats wrong straight up :/
crank angle sensor same thing happened to mine
The computer isn't throwing out a code for crank angle sensor though maybe computer problem as well?
