    Default Cluster lighting issue

    Hi,
I'm having an issue with my cluster, it's really weird. I replaced my cluster to a level 2 last year, I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure it worked fine prior, anyway, when my car is off, or on ACC, the cluster lights up normally, handbrake light, check engine, battery, and if applicable headlights all light up, then I turn the car over, and all those lights disappear, my handbrake is still definitely engaged, and headlights definitely on, yet no cluster light? Anyway, I flick to high beams, and that icon shows while the car is running, and while off, but otherwise nothing, handbrake and headlights can be on but as soon as I turn the car over, those cluster lights are gone. Indicator cluster lights work while car is on or off too.
So, what could it be? Clearly all the globes and connections work.

Also, on a side note, my wipers work on INT and 1 fine, but on 2 they're the same speed as 1, but lag a little and sound like they're struggling. After a while of them being on they get a tiny fraction faster, ideas?

    Any help is appreciated Thanks

Sounds like your cluster is not getting enough power. If you still have the old cluster, compare the pinouts on the back with your new cluster and make sure the power connections are correct.

Wiper switch may need a clean, they pull apart easily.

But If it wasn't getting enough power wouldn't they not light up at all with the engine off? And the high beam light and indicators light up on the dash while the engine is on. Hmm :/
