A couple of questions to get the motor out:
1) how many bolts are holding the motor and tranny together?
2) will the transmission mounts support the weight of it with the motor out or does it need to be supported otherwise (and whats the best way?)?
3) where's the best place to hook up the chains on the donk? Most people just use opposite corners and bolt into the heads yeah?
Everything is disconnected (wiring, headers, ancillaries etc) so it's currently just sitting there bolted in via tranny and mounts.
Advice appreciated.
1) 6 bolts holding the trans to the motor. Add another 3 if auto for torque converter to flex plate.
2) Chock up the front of the transmission with wood before unbolting from the motor.
3) I usually use all 4 corners of the heads which link up to a balancer bar.

Cheers for that- the bolts are pretty accessible? Especially the three for the torque converter to the flex plate?
I've got a load leveller so I'll hook up all four corners.
The torque convertor bolts arent too bad, just pop the cover off and youll see them. All else is pretty straight forward.
the bolts are in an awkward spot, with the right tools and a quality ratchet you should be right, but there where a few bolts that were time consuming when i pulled my box out
