Having had this Vp for about 4 years ive had to put up with locking it manually and so did the previous owner since 2000. It would int not open all the doors, sometimes yes then play up for a week and it was really upsetting me to the point of fitting something aftermarket. After a little research i had replaced both front actuators removed all door trims and made sure all wiring is clean and secure. Even removed the immobilizer ecu that activates the central and cleaned the relays inside it but still no luck. The other day i had rewired the mirror switch to make the little green light work and noticed while opening and closing the door it would cut out, BINGO! found two broken wires in the loom that runs thru the door jam. One wire was the earth that ran to the central locking actuator.
