Smile working on my vn wagon

    Hi People
I just joined up yesterday, i have a 1991 vn wagon and don't i feel a tool atm, took me 6 months and finally googling how to replace windscreen wiper blade arm the other day to be able to fix the problem (see my car has been off road for 6 months while i save the 2g wanted by local mechanics where i live to just fix my car and blue slip it, but i've never heard of mechanics changing more if you buy the parts and have them install the parts, so i'm trying to do so small jobs myself and leave the bigger ones like steering and suspension to the mechanics - besides i don't have the room or tools to d.i.y the big stuff), i need help in getting the rear window washer motor out, so far i've taken all the tailgate trim off, taken off all nuts and bolts and disconnected the wires but now i'm stuck, is this a job for a newbie (honestly my skills with cars are minimum like re filling all fluid bottles, changing a tyre and light globes and now replacing a wiper blade arm and removing interior trim) or should i leave it for a auto electrical professional to do it?
Hopefully someone can help me as i'd be grateful.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Oh and how do i fix the centre console lid that has snapped off the supports (thanks to my angry b.f that never thinks that it is me who has to fix his damages), i have tried a 2 part poxy glue but the heat inside the car when parked doesn't let the lid stay secured for long so the lid is always coming off.

    Thanks for the help

To remove the washer motor?? For memory they are in with the spare wheel, simply lift the washer bottle out and the motor is attached to the side.

To remove the wiper motor?, you have to first remove the wiper arm by undoing the nut under the cap, but before you do I suggest you replace two bolts/nuts to make the wiper motor firm and easier to work on the arm.
Once you have undone the nut on the arm, pull the arm straight off the spline.

As for the console, maybe screw it not glue it.
