Vp v6 rough idle and stalling!
hi everyone, my 92 vp executive has had a problem with idle for a while now. it will run fine for a bit after starting but then it will start to chugg and puff black smoke and eventually stall if i dont keep the revs up, also the engine light starts flickering while driving, tried getting fault codes but engine light just continues to flicker. heres a list of things i have tested, cleaned or replaced. iac valve cleaned, throttle body cleaned, crank sensor replaced, coolant temp sensor replaced, new plugs, leads, coil pack and dfi replaced. i am leaning towards ECU or oxy sensor. please help!!!
id try an oxygen sensor, and work out why your check engine light is not working properly.
got a new ecu today, il try it tonight and post how it goes, bought a sv3800 tune as well...just for kicks
