    Default sneaky little switch

i've just been doing the error test on my comp and found two disconnected wires that run to an on off switch that was actually mounted under the centre bit behind the handbrake.
at some point in time it was hooked up on the pink wire going into the comp.
what wound this have done? should i hook it up or will it do bad things to my car?

Geez, can you tell me what coloured wires of the ECU connection this switch was switching. I will get out my gregory's manual and see what the pink does. Maybe someone was fiddling with trying to bypass a sensor or something to get more rich fuel mixture or something.
    Yours Kindly,
    Jim

it only connected to the pink wire, basically an inline switch. all i can think is the person who owned it before me used it as a cheap immobiliser or something. i could be completly wrong. would love to know.

Id have to agree, its most likely a home made immobiliser. especialy if it was hidden along the side of the handbrake.

It's not a way of bypassing the torque lockup is it?
