vr v8 and auto into a vp

hey guy's, i've got a complete v8 driveline out of a vr stato. i'm looking at putting it in a vp wagon. my only concern is the engine wiring and box loom. can i just use the vr computer in the vp?

it really shouldn't be to hard, basically slot the whole lot in, disable the security in the ecu, wire the vr's loom into the vp's engine harness plugs (2 plugs may need some wires moved). i've posted a thread on putting a v6, trans, loom and ecu into a vn/vp i imagine it would be very similar, don't have a v8 loom on hand atm to double check though.... if it's auto then maybe get some hints and pointers from this VR EV6 & 4L60E into vn s2 or vp conversion if it's manual even easier
