gday guys...halfway through putting a minispool in my car and im trying to put the crown gear on the housing....what is the easiest way to do this? i assume you cant hit the crap outa the teeth...or am i wrong?
need a press really unless you a got a vice big enough to fit it in. Also its a bit of a pain as you have to try n line up bolt holes perfect took me 3 tries 1st time i done it to get it right

Take your time with it, small firm hits.
DON'T HIT THE CROWN WHEEL TEETH WITH A HAMMER!!
Very bad idea, wrap the crownwheel in foil and put it in the oven at 100degrees for 10-15minutes (or until golden brown). A diff shop would use a hot oil bath for even heat, but an oven will work. After it is heated and more malleable, it will slip right on.
