speed sensor??? help

got a problem with my vn only thing it needs for a roady is to get the speedo working.. it worked when i got it. then i put a vp lvl2 cluster in, it worked still. then all of a sudden it stopped i thought it was the cluster so i put the stock 1 back in.. no good nothing, so i completely pulled apart the vp speedo looked all good so i put it back in still nothing so im thinking its the speed sensor i know were it is but do i just replace the black bit with the plug that screws on or the part behind that.. if so how do i get it out? i undid the 10mm bolt but thats as far as i got i couldnt get it out. is it srewed in or press fitted?

have you checked your fuse??

yeah all the fueses are good the odometer works just not the speed

Undo the bolt and the plug and just pull it out.. You will get a little bit of oil, not heaps and put the new in.. Mine worked and stopped and worked then sometimes worked then died.. There cheap part

so it just pulles straight out thats all i needed to know but i dont get y my odometer works but the speed doesnt
