vn shaved rear garnish pics?

hey all im new i own two vns and i dont like the rear garnish ive looked for a thread covering this but didnt look too hard my question has anyone removed the garnish and just filled in the holes etc?

looks alright that gap were the lights are id be worried about rain getting in the boot isnt it a common problem with vn's anyway ?

i dont think itll leak the seals are newish but numberplate light hmmm how too work that out

I personally would not do it, but i havn't seen one before so do your best. But i have got to say the rear garnish is what i love about it.

Sorry about that bud you did say at the start of the thread that you didn't like it, but go for it it just looks out of place for my taste.

I dont think it looks that good without the garnish, you can tell its missing (note large gap between lights). Why not try and smooth the garnish over? I think that would look alright and wouldnt have to change anything (plate still mounts where it originally does, wouldnt have to move the light)

one time this yellow vt came to the shop i was working at. it had no door moulds and the body line that runs through the middle of the car was filled in too. it had shaved door handles and fibreglass bars moulded into the quarters and guards (all the bog was cracking). along with a bunch of other goofy shit too. people go to university and get degrees before they even pick up a pen to design a car. some stuff works and other stuff looks like this yellow jelly bean turd that im kicking myself i didnt take a pic of so we could all laugh at it...
