vs dash dosnt work ?

A VS dash is wired different to a VN and will smoke every time. The gauges may be OK to fit to a VN case tho.

I put a vr one in a vn both v6 auto's i sh!t my self... it smoked up like a V8 on a burnout pad....

LOL - it's been done a number of times all over Australia - by many many people. Only do it once tho

thats right.. can not put vr/vs in a vn..... however I changed around all the guages (tacho,speed,fuel,temp) into my vn cluster and it works a treat

My dads mate had a vr he put another vr dash in it and all the gauges started moveing so he put a vs ecoted one in and it worked.

vr vs the same vn will work in a vp but the indicator lights under the dials will be incorrect

swapped it all over fully working!

I put a vr fuel gauge in my vn and works great..

Hey fellas I just put a vn 5.0 5 speed into my vs ute as the v6 just couldn't handle it lol everything is running sweet now Just can't get the speedo working Any ideas anyone I did hear somewhere tho that you need to some electrical thing to convert it or something is this correct does anyone no
