    Default Vn/Vp V8 t5 gearbox questions

evening guys, i bought a vn/vp v8 t5 gearbox, flywheel, used clutch and tailshaft yolk for $250, and got a question, what block pattern are they?? turbo or trimatic, i think i got it cheap, so im happy, it'll go into the shed until i build my next hq ute and go inj 304, it might go into my old mans wb yet, depending on what patten it is and what patten the 253 were looking at for it
    cheers

nice fine mate you got it really cheap actually, hope its not noisy lol.
i don't think you can use that bell-housing on an old Holden 8,though you can buy custom bell-housing's to suit the old 8.

Sure you can use it but not sure the pattern it bolts behind. The newer blocks maintained one of the patterns. Also think the clutch spline is the same as the m20,m21 & 3 spd all sync box of the earlier model V8's

The bell-housing will be to suit turbo block. All holden V8 block from VN onwards where to suit turbo pattern.
