VR Level 3 Cluster -> VP Calais

Hey guys first off I want to start out by saying I have read and searched for about half an hour mainly in these forums but I wasn't able to get a definitive answer as the threads weren't exactly what I want to do. I got a Level 3 dash cluster from a VR, I believe a Calais and I basically just want to know if it's a straight swap to put into my VP Calais.

Nope not without changing the wires around in the dash.... Then your crusie wont work and the overspeed will flash low fuel.

So not a good move.

However the LCD screens will work in the VP cluster if you have missing segments - just take care when putting back together. Plastic is very brittle.

Just for a matter of interest VN Calais dash will be a straight swap in to a VP?

Not 100 % I think 3 wires need to be moved - 2 brown white and an indicator - all on C1 I think. I had a VP L3 cluster in my VN.

Hmmm that may only be for VP executive upgrades to L3....

But the trip computer will work in a VP cluster no problemo.
