Default VR distributor 3pin plug order

Hi guys, i have a VN Calais 1990 V8 & have re-powered with 355 stroker motor out of a VR. Can't get to run!! Was told that wiring harness & ECU were compatible and have found they are not. So....have put
VN harness back in & had to change distributor plug. I may have wired wrong? Could anyone explain the pin order for plug please?
Wire colours; 1 x white & black trace
    1 x grey & red trace
    1 x grey & green trace

Also, when plugging harness into car there is four plugs on mine.
2 x large blue go to ECU and 10 pin plug with 8 wires plugs in.
I have a six pin plug left? Does this need to be plugged in somewhere???

I think the six pin plug your referring to is what you use for diagnosis, as in checking error codes, plugging a diagnostic computer into the car, etc.

With regards to the dizzy plug, have you checked if you have spark?
