    Default Brandons VN

    Gday guys,new to the forum.
just picked myself up a VN,(it was filthy, barely anything worked-including the handbrake, the interior was falling apart,so it gave me a good excuse to do the interior up real nice)it had a complete engine rebuild 50,000kms ago.
Brandons VN-phto0154.jpgdon't know a whole heap about holdens,so was just wondering if anyone could help me identify the bodykit that is on this one?

better pictures would help, front and rear shots. i would say vr vs clubsport skirts, possible the same style front bar and the same style wing, but the rear bar looks like a normal vn one

its got a 3 piece lip kit on it so it has to be VN SS kit (same as clubsport too) possibly clubsport because of the way the number plate light is, definalty not a VP bar I've never seen the light on a VP before because VPs have the number plate light in the tail light garnish where I can't see it on the VN garnish

its a vn with a vp bar on it. all the did was cut a hole and put the vn number plate light on it. otherwise you have to use a vp garnish and rewire that bish....

    ok so,
    vr vs clubsport skirts?
    fake VP senator front bumper?
    vr clubsport wing?
    sv3800 grill?
and you guys agreed on vp rear bar?

also krisp, the car was $1000,new tires/alignment $800,new handbrake $70,new steering wheel $170,new seat covers $80..now just needs a new bearing in the dif,but thats not urgent.....

clubsport#325 forgive me if this is a stupid question, but what is this "cop chip"?

The actual BUMPER on a VP is 1 piece and on a VN 3 piece, not the skirt

Cant really comment on the skirts as I dont know, but I would assume 3 piece on VN and VP

Body kit on car is I think,
Rear Bar: VP Calais with the number plate light in it (as mentioned above) - Can tell its a Calais one, from the moldings - and yes, the VP rear bar has a 3 piece skirt on it from factory.
Side Skirts: From the VR/VS style bodykit for the VN's
Front Bar: Smoothed out SV5000, can tell from the crappy bog job on the passenger side. It's not a VP senator bar.
Grille: is a SV3800 style one, to tell if its orginal or not, check and see if its made of fibreglass, if it is, its a copy.
Wing: Is off the "Bathurst" type bodykits you sometimes see VN/VP's with.

Hope this helps, and clears up some confusion.

Nice to see a manual too, good work.
