Gday guys.. Just installed a minispool in my diff and when im doin about 50km and up..when im just rolling, I get like a loud bearing noise..but if I'm accelerating..it doesn't make noise.. Did I mess something up?
Sounds like diff pre-load.

This started the exact same way you're describing. Sound on decel or just cruising.
It's ok to drive on, but i'd get it looked at ASAP.

think pre load means the sound before acceleration, before a load is applied to the diff from the drive shaft... not a part to adjust...
dont sweat the petty... pet the sweaty...
So. How do I fix it?
when you dismantled it, did you take note of where the screw caps were that preload the carrier bearings were?
when you reassembled it did you put these back where they were exactly?
Nah...I'm assuming I should have? What do I have to do now?
or did you put the correct shims back in the right sides?
sorry was thinking of the wrong diff....

well i actually bent a shim putting the carrier in...so i took it to a diff shop and paid 50 bux for them to put the carrier in...i assumed he sized up the shim and replaced it...
