Genuine vn group A bonett scoop !!

Hi just bought a vn bonnett for the scoop to put on my VL .
unbolted the scoop and found it wasn't fibreglass , its plastic,
and weighs about 3-4 kgs, looked at the underneath and its a
genuine HSV part, with numbers. I think it would be ashame to put it
on the VL, so I am thinking of selling it on ebay !! any ideas what price it
would fetch ?? its excellent condition with a couple of bolts missing .

sounds like it damaged so may as well tech screw it to your vl

Those things are a real lottery. If you find somebody with a genuine Group A who needs one then it'd be worth heaps. I'd look at some of the HSV forums to see if there is any interest. For nearly everybody else it's not worth much at all.

The scoop has 10 bolts around it to go through the bonnet to hold it there !! 4 are missing!!
the bolts are moulded into the plastic and when unbolted with surface rust on the threads the
heads of the bolts turn in the plastic and dislodge !! its common on all plastic parts with bolts moulded in.
Its an easy fix to hold them back in their place !! and I wouldn't dream of tech screwing it to the vl bonett,
Its a part of history this scoop and I think it would be hard or near impossible to find one.
