on my way to work this morning when my wagon just cut out. It has had a habit of going through crank angle sensors but I dont think that is the issue this time as it usually backfires and carries on when the cas is the issue I think it might be the coil pack as it is just not firing. Is there any way of testing the coils on site ? I did a fault check and it comes back as 12 (ok) any ideas greatly appreciated.
grab a spare spark plug and individually test the end of each lead to see if your getting spark. then you can back track coil packs, ignition module, ect... wouldnt hurt to put a multi meter up to your alternator and test a few other things too...
also if your engine is sputtering and coughing it can be that water is getting by your inlet manifold gaskets... mine did that when they were due...
dont sweat the petty... pet the sweaty...
I'd do ignition module first - it's rare for all three coils to burn out at once. Request a Delphi brand module, and if they don't know what it is - go somewhere else. ACA is shithouse.

Got that issue sorted it was actually a couple of
dodgy connections into the ignition module (where a electrition had wired the immobiliser) drove the old girl home and about 2 km from home there was a bang and now the clutch bearing has collapsed.
sounds like your not having much luck. lol
If it wasnt for bad luck I wouldnt have any. But looking on the bright side I have been collecting V8 parts for a while now so it is either step up the conversion or sell it
