Fault code 43 coming up but no knock sensor or wiring present

Hey fellas my engine light is on and the diagnostic check says it the knock sensor but there is no knock
Sensor or wire there for it I hav heard that the wire colour is white with a red trace but it's just not there anyone Got any ideas why it's still on and how I can get rid of it plz fellas oh and I put a vn 5.0 into a vs ute That was a v6 any help would great fellas its got me stumped ay cheers

Did you put the v8 ecu in?

Yea mate changed the but there isant even a wire that is white with red trace at the ecu ay

There is a plug just above the computer that is above the computer that comes from the engine harness and plugs into
The dash harnes do you think this might be causing the problem it plugs in together fine but maybe the wires are lining
Up wrong maybe

Really need some help here ay fellas it's got me stumped it just doesn't make sense how it can pick up a sensor circuit wen it's not there ay this is all that's left everything else in the v6-v8 conversion went smoothly I even made up Dummie harness myself and got reverse lights working it's just this problem left any ideas anyone might hav would be muchly appreciated thanks fellas

Hey fellas just thought I would let you no I think ive worked it out been doing a bit of research and it seems as if it's had a memcal fitted with the knock sensor but hasent actualy had the sensor fitted to the engine which was pretty handy lol but will post more wen I no exactly ok cheers fellas

If thats the case its worth it to install a knock sensor. Can get them off a buick v6 and writing on ebay.
