Default Few seconds to start vp

Car takes a few seconds to start, I'm guessing it's either spark plugs or injectors? Been like it since I brought and it's just pissing me off now. Coil pack is new so I was thinking of changing the spark plug leads to see if that makes a difference then try sparkys if that wasn't the problem. Then onto injectors if sparkys ain't the problem. If anyone has any ideas, I could really use the help. Cheers

Well starter motor is no big deal as I'm putting the manual starter on, guess I'll get the injectors off my other car

when you first turn the key to ignition (without going to start) can you hear the fuel pump? it should run for 2-3 seconds then stop if the engine isn't being cranked, may help to get someone to have their head under the fuel tank to listen while another turns it on, try this a couple of times you'll need to wait 10-15 seconds between turning it off and back on if doing it multiple times.

If you can't hear it, i'd be looking at the fuel pump relay for dirty/corroded/bad connections, the reason being the ecu triggers the relay for first start to prime, once the car is running or cranked enough to get oil pressure the oil pressure switch has a circuit in it that takes over control of the fuel pump, it almost sounds like this could be your issue, if not it's another thing to double check before pulling injectors and pressure reg's off at least. Also unplug the ecu and plug it back in a few times, may be a bad connection there.
