After last nights 7.11 on a slightly uphill road I knew I might be on for a sub 7 without the spare wheel and my work stuff in the car and only about 15 liters of BP premium left in the tank. So as soon as I woke up I burned that leaner launch memcal I made the other night and went for a cruise to the bush. The car felt strong. Straight up ran 6.96 to 60 mph, too easy. I thought at that speed no wheelspin and a proper 2nd to 3rd I surely can't loose enough time on the top end to do worse than 15.5 over the 1/4. So I gave it a run, I shifted into third at near 5500 rpm, I must say it's a bit worrying once your speedo is showing over 140

but yeah I was happy when it flashed up 15.37 at 90.5 mph, that's about what I had been hoping for and I thought that in theory my car should do that time, even though I never wanted to admit it would break 15.7 in case it couldn't: p but I had hopes. So I still have that massive towbar on the back but I don't really feel the urgent need to pull it now since I allready craked the 7 and have a 1/4 mile I'm happy with. I don't think I'll do another 1/4 mile now until I finish building that split plenum manifold, then the local 1/4 mile track shoudl be open

, if I can learn to launch the lights properly there I should have a sub 15.5 time slip for you few guys that still have doubts this Summer (the towbar will be off

I'd look too silly in a V6 VN with a towbar with all the local 10-11 second cars there), you all know the mods I have done to my car, the memcal is there, the cold air intake pics are there, the throttle body pics too and I've mentioned how I've fixed up every little bit on all those things so you all should be able to do a similar time if your engines are still running ok : )
