    Default smoother acceleration???

    Hey,
just got my car back after its had a fair bit of work,

its idling a bit rough,a bit of vibration happening
it also accelerates a bit rought, well like you put your foot down and you get kicked back in your seat...

any ideas of things i can do to stop / reduce this??

i was already going to clean the throttle body, just havnt got round to it

You don't like it kicking back and throwing you into your seat. You must have a few screws loose lol I love pumping it and it kicking back and forcing you into the seat as the revs pick up and you go screaming passed that stupid ford infront of you that wasn't doing the speed limit hehe

    Cheers
    Mat

P.S- Check out your kickdown cable, disconnect your battery for 5mins connect it start car and hold it at 3000rpm for a minute to reset all your sensors etc.

Back in the late 80's I saw two blonde girls with permed hair in a Chev 400 small block powered FB Ute peel both huge tires for about 100 meters in one of the main streets of my town, do a lap around town and do it again, another lap and do it again by the third time every guy had walked out of the pub and was cheering them as they smoked past the front door , classic

MY sisters car VL Calais stock she bought VY SS 18" rims for it and it wouldn't do wheel-Spin But she gave it to my nephew when he got his licence and he had the engine tunned and tranny upgraded plus added a 3.9 LSD it does them so easy now
He got done for not having the car under control driving dangerously and going over the speed limit by no more 45kp/h. Then a Little yellow sticker on it it was also to low. Kids He now has lost his licence.
Anyone who loves VL Calais would cry if they seen what he has done to it in 4 months he has hit a car lost the rear bumper hit a fence and been hit up the rear by his mate behind him And now he wants to Turbo it.

lol... thats how NOT to treat your car...

you should treat your car with the same respect you treat your life...

because if you loose control... the car is your life...
