Default 5.0l bellhousing bolt pattern = chev pattern?

Hi Guys, Can someone help me in regards to the bellhousing bolt pattern on a VN 5.0l block. Is it the same as the earlier 308 turbo blocks (chev pattern) or not? I am wanting to fit a T700 to a V6 Chev,I am hoping a 5.0l VN gearbox will bolt up. Thanks in advance.

Yes as far as I've read you can swap between the T350 T400 and T700 on a turbo patterned block. I guess the V6 chev would have ran a T350? so it should be a straight swap over, wouldn't it be cheaper to use the common V6 box ? what's different 1st gear?
