Need new headlights

Well as the title says I need new head lights as candles would be alot brighter than the ones I have lol. Basically I just wanna know what the wattage in the headlights mean (mine atm are 100w/55w) and what is the highest wattage I can go up to without needing to replace wiring etc, thanks.

so just buy 100/55 and dont worry about it. you can get the superbrights that work off the same numbers so stick with them

55/100's like you have at the moment should be doing fairly well, you could probably look at 75/100 H4 globes, but I found that with 100W high beams I was starting to melt the fuse block that holds the 30A fuse for the headlights. The fuse didn't blow, but it was just starting to ooze and melt everywhere.

If you want better low beams then 75/100 would be good, if you just want better high beams, get yourself a good set of driving lights, and a descent wiring loom for them.
