Found pics of this VN online. Its a Vx Clubbie kit on a 89 vn
has any one got ant idea who sells this body kit, it looks pretty good on a VN.
Just need to have a nice paint job, (Not the two tone).
umm, thats a vy clubsport kit i think you'll find mate...
alot of bodykit places can make a vy kit to suit a vn, i personally can't recommend any of the larger manufacturers...i think they charge way to much.
but have a look around and find a small business that does kits..they'll definately be cheaper and probably be better quality kits too (not mass produced crap).
for instance when i was lookin for kits i found a bloke on ebay that made them and he happened to live pretty close...he made one up and even delivered it to my door the champion.
great quality kit too, when i told my spray painter how much it cost me he couldnt believe it.
but yeah, there's lots of those vy kits gettin around these days, shouldnt be hard to pick up a nice one cheap.
sir cruise im interested in where this fella is/way of contact.. i live near logan area too.
Cougar Automotive Design are the "dubbed" inventors of this VY conversion kit, sorry i dont have the number for them ive been searching for a while for the same kit.
That car is also for sale on eBay currently at $1800

he lives just north of brissy (dunno what suburb) and for a small fee (i gave him $20 for petrol) he'll deliver it to you in his trailer..savin you $100 for freight cost.
sorry i cant be of anymore help, this was about 8 months ago i got the kit off him now.
I just had the VX kit put on my VP will post photos in next couple of days and try to find the guys name i got the kit from. He was on the Gold Coast but the kit was a bit average ( it just needed ALOT of prep ) but now it is done it looks good. The spray painter didn't like me very much by the end of it but i threw him a few extra $ and paid cash with no receipt and he was happy.
Will let you know anyway
This is my VP Berlina
VX Body kit
18" wheels ( rolled the rear guards ) no problem at all
Lowered kings front and super lows rear
Looks much better with the f+r bars the same colour as the car
Will get the other details on the weekend
I paid $600 for the kit and $1200 to be fitted and painted
that also included respray the bonnet and a bit of repair work to the rear quater and rear door ( never let the missus drive your car )
photos are in MY RIDE VP BITSA ( Bits and pieces )

hey mate did you end up finding out the name of the guy?
looks pretty sweet to, when you said alot of prep work, what did you mean by that?
Will have to go back through emails this weekend to find his name.I'm not sure but i will try. There was also someone up the sunshine coast somewhere.
Will let you know
There was just a few little pit holes and things like that so alot of rubbing and elbow work. Came up preety sweet though
I just found his email and sent him a message to see if he is still making them. So just waitng for reply. There isn't much on ebay at the moment for the VN VP 's but will let you know when i know.![]()
Hope that kit dosent get to popular, kinda defeats the purpose of getting it if its all over the joint.![]()
Hey,
I am a South Australian and was wondering how much a full Vy or VX clubsport kit would cost. How much price difference between new and secondhand?
Where in Adelaide is the best value respray shop.
lol...thats a pretty hard question to answer mate...
a kit can range from (this is for a new kit) $500 to $2-3k at some places.
i wouldnt bother with a second hand one, there's too much work involved to prep it and its just not worth it...especially if it has the usual scrapes and chips on it.
her is the no. of a guy down gold coast way who made my kit
0414936308
he said just give him a call if interested
i paid $600 for the VX kit for my VP![]()

That bodykit in the photos looks sooooo crap! Just my opinion, but each to there own i guess.
i think the kit on thats looks like poo. i have a genuine areo and they look so much better. but thats just what i think.....![]()
good 4 both of you....was there anything constructive you had to say/add or you just felt that your opinion couldnt go unheard because its so important?
who cares whether you like a type of kit or not?
someone posted a thread to ask a question about a bodykit so people could help with info...not so you could come along and say its "poo" and "soooo crap".
yes i have to agree each to their own if u don't like this kit then good go and look at something else the is no useful crtisism or comments in your posts so why bother..
Any way back to the ?

this is his email so you can contact him.
Thanks
Is there such a thing as a VN SS kit? I have a VP and i really want the understated VN SS kit?
i got quoted 1200 for a VX clubby kit for a vp :|
i got a vx clubby kit on my 89 vn wags and it looks f***in tough (not blowin wind up my arse) they're a wicked kit and if u think they look poo good on ya.
To fit the kit, did you keep the standard bonnet, guards and lights or did you have to replace/adjust to fit the front bar on?
nothing needs to be changed when puttin a kit on, its as simple as swapping the front and rear bars for the new ones and then attaching the skirts.
when you buy a (lets say vx clubby kit) for a (lets say vp) its not actually a vx clubby kit as such, its a replica style vx kit which is made to fit which ever car you have...so if you had a vp you'd need a vx clubby kit to suit a vn-vp.
there's alot of differences (ever so slight as they are) between a real vx kit off a vx and a vx style kit for another model of commy.
